Buyer questions

What people reasonably want to know.

01How does taliQ decide whether AI is genuinely useful?

The starting point is the decision, workflow or customer need—not a particular tool. taliQ looks at the value of improving that work, the quality and sensitivity of the information involved, technical feasibility, people and process readiness, and the consequence of an error. A credible use case should have a clear owner, a practical way to test it and a reason to prefer AI over a simpler option.

02What does an AI Value & Readiness review produce?

Typical outputs include an opportunity and workflow inventory, a value-feasibility-readiness-risk assessment, a prioritised opportunity map and a practical roadmap. The exact scope is agreed after discovery. A review does not promise that every idea should proceed, guarantee a financial result or replace the detailed product, legal, security or change work needed for implementation.

03Does every business need an AI policy?

Many businesses benefit from clear written boundaries once staff are using AI or a higher-consequence use is planned. A policy is only one part of governance. Ownership, approved tools, information rules, training, exceptions, human review and a review cycle also need to be workable. The right level of control depends on the use case and potential consequence, not the size of an enterprise template.

04How should confidential or regulated information be handled?

Do not place confidential, personal, commercially sensitive or regulated information into an unapproved AI service. A review should first establish the information involved, the provider’s terms and handling, access controls, retention, required approvals and where qualified privacy, legal, cyber-security or industry advice is needed. Coaching uses safe or de-identified examples unless an appropriate environment and explicit handling rules have been agreed.

05Does taliQ receive commissions from AI tool vendors?

Tool recommendations are intended to follow the workflow, requirements and information risks. No vendor commission or preferred-provider arrangement is represented on this website. If a future engagement involved a commercial relationship that could influence a recommendation, it should be disclosed before the decision is made. Clients remain free to question a recommendation and ask what alternatives were considered.

06How are scope, timing and success measures agreed?

Discovery clarifies the objective, people, constraints, dependencies and what a useful result would look like. taliQ then proposes a defined scope, responsibilities, assumptions, timing and review points. Success measures should suit the work: sometimes that is a tested decision or usable artefact rather than a dramatic percentage. Changes are agreed rather than treated as unlimited revisions or invisible extra work.

07When will taliQ recommend specialist advice?

taliQ provides AI and digital consulting, not legal, financial, cyber-security, employment or regulated professional advice. Where an engagement turns on a legal interpretation, a formal security assessment, employment obligations or industry-specific approval, the relevant qualified adviser should be involved. taliQ can help frame operational questions and evidence, but does not guarantee compliance or replace the accountable specialist.

08What happens in the free discovery call?

The call is a focused conversation about your goals, current situation and what prompted the enquiry. You will get an initial view of whether taliQ is likely to help and what a sensible next step could be. There is no obligation and no tool-first sales pitch. Please avoid sharing confidential, personal or sensitive business information during an initial call.

09Who owns a website and its accounts?

Ownership and handover are recorded in the proposal before work begins. The default is a client-controlled domain and core service accounts where practical, agreed access to the code and clear deployment and operating notes. Any third-party licences or restrictions should be identified. Content supplied by the client remains the client’s responsibility to approve and keep accurate after handover.

10What is the difference between a build and maintenance?

A one-off build covers the agreed design, engineering, testing, deployment and handover. Optional maintenance is a separate arrangement that may cover agreed updates, dependency care, monitoring or support. It is not compulsory and does not imply 24/7 response, unlimited revisions or indefinite free work. Even without maintenance, the handover explains the updates and account responsibilities the owner must keep managing.

11Can technical SEO guarantee a Google ranking?

No. Technical SEO makes a site easier to crawl, understand and use through sound structure, metadata, performance, accessibility and indexation controls. Search rankings also depend on competition, content, authority, search behaviour and changes made by search engines. taliQ can implement and verify a strong technical baseline, but does not promise a particular position or traffic outcome.

12How is a mobile app different from a website?

A mobile app is justified when device capabilities, repeated use, distribution or the product workflow make it a better fit. Store release adds Apple and Google platform rules, privacy disclosures, review processes, device testing and ongoing compatibility work. A web application has different browser, hosting and operational responsibilities. Each is scoped separately from a straightforward public website.

13Who is AI Coaching suitable for?

Coaching is for owners, leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and people ready to build practical AI capability around their real responsibilities. It can begin with the foundations, but the value comes from repeatable practice, verification and sensible boundaries. Participants should use safe or de-identified examples and must not upload confidential, personal or regulated information into an unapproved tool.

14Can taliQ work outside Sydney or Australia?

taliQ is Sydney-based and serves clients across Australia. Remote delivery may also suit an international client where the scope, time zone, contracting, privacy and regulatory responsibilities are clear. The website does not claim universal compliance with every jurisdiction, so an engagement that depends on overseas legal or industry requirements may need appropriately qualified local advice.

15What does working with taliQ cost?

Prices are not published at launch because advisory reviews, coaching and digital products have different scope and responsibilities. After discovery, a proposal can set out the work, assumptions, timing and fee. Project delivery and optional maintenance are quoted separately. A discovery call is free and is the best place to determine whether there is a sensible basis for a proposal.
